It is truly remarkable to witness the dedication, hard work, and passion displayed by the students, teachers and staff of Welbeck Primary. The KS2 results are a testament to the commitment to excellence in education that is evident throughout the school.
As I reflect on the journey that has led to this remarkable achievement, I cannot but help recognise the extraordinary efforts put forth by you and your entire staff team. Your determination for pupils to succeed and willingness to embrace challenges have undoubtedly played a crucial role in this success, particularly in this time.
You alongside all the teachers and staff at Welbeck Primary have shown remarkable dedication to their profession, going above and beyond to provide an environment that fosters learning and growth. Their expertise, guidance, and encouragement have undoubtedly been instrumental in shaping the minds of the children and helping them excel in their recent examinations.
But beyond the scores and statistics, what truly stands out is the sense of community and camaraderie at Welbeck Primary. It is evident that the school nurtures not only academic excellence but also the development of well-rounded individuals with values, empathy, and a passion for learning. This exceptional achievement serves as a beacon of inspiration to other schools and an affirmation of the power of education to transform lives. I am confident that the positive impact of Welbeck Primary will continue to ripple through the lives of its students for years to come.

Welbeck Primary has a proven track record of achieving success and a clear commitment to the Meadows community. I was therefore delighted to hear about their plans to expand the school to provide a local Meadows secondary provision to improve outcomes for children at KS3 and KS4. It is unacceptable that Meadows’ children have to take multiple buses or trams to get to school having been rejected from their local secondary. All Meadows children should be able to access an outstanding school, like Welbeck, in their local community with their peers.
I am also excited to hear of Welbeck’s plans to continue their creative approaches to learning and commitment to arts education. This exciting and innovative vision would benefit all pupils, especially those with additional barriers to learning. The smaller cohort, coupled with a focus on pastoral care will only benefit children’s emotional and academic well-being and I look forward to seeing this vision put into action.

I just wanted to say ‘thank you’ for all that you and your wonderful staff have done for (looked after child) during their time with you. The continuous dedication, genuine affection and ongoing support from you and your staff at Welbeck Primary has been incredible. You provided stability and continuity of care when everything around them was changing rapidly. It has been a real privilege working with you.
